Eileen hails from Dublin and previously taught whistle in SC&T for 10 years. A keen
musician she played flute and whistle in Jingbang ceilidh band. She is looking
forward to returning to SC&T and getting to pass on her favourite whistle tunes.
Whistle 1: What will I learn?
This class is for people who have completed Whistle 0 or have some experience
playing a wind instrument. There will be a focus on tone and incorporating
ornamentation into playing different types of tunes; slow airs, jigs/reels, marches.
Having fun playing tunes on your whistle is an important aim of the class.
