Fiddle 1: What will I learn?

Fiddle 1 welcomes beginners and improvers who have played a little fiddle already and who would like to move their experience forward by learning basic airs, marches, jigs, strathspeys and reels. There will be helpful tips on technique. Learning by ear is encouraged although those who need to the initial support of learning with sheet music will be accommodated.

Joe Hibbs

Joe Hibbs is a fiddler and violist who regularly plays in orchestras and other ensembles throughout the North-East of Scotland. More frequently, Joe plays with locally acclaimed Reel of Fortune Ceilidh Band, who play at many events throughout the year from wedding receptions to student balls and corporate functions.
